 Do they realize how traumatic this is for the young man? Couldn't another person have identified the body if the issue was identified? I understand, cultural issues might have been involved, the person who views the body might start gossiping, etc but couldn't he have been prepared in a better fashion at least? Very sad indeed. But the media should get to know places where such cases can be referred to if they get to know them first. There are studies that show that in some parts of Britain when cases of violence or suicide were reported frequently, the numbers of persons doing this increased twofold compared to parts of the country there were not reported. This was a controlled study that helped the media and the professionals instead of share such photos on media, they should inform the public where to report such cases to get help.
