These indigenous tribes have no trust learned from experience to observe"social distance" from a cunning civilized world. One min your sailing down a quiet idyllic river, the next you've got an arrow in the neck for a guy who dedicated his life to the indigenous cause it's slightly ironic he would be attacked by them. Probably sick of folk interfering we fight to slow the changes to this planet, leaving the homes of indigenous people alone is one thing that is a must. Leave them alone and protect their forest from the illegal logging and mining, can't be that hard if his work was not in favor of the Indigenous protection and the protection of the amazonian people, why he kept exposing them to the modern world? If he and the Brazilian president do not care about their existence by destroying their living environment, then it is ethically justifiable for the killing.
