What are people worried about? Vaccinate everyone. There are enough doses for everyone. And kids can still carry it. If we all vaccinate, no one carries it to anyone. There are many that will not be able to get the vaccine because of health issues and diseases and there are many that will foolishly refuse to get it. We have to protect as many people as possible since people will not choose to do the right thing for the greater good. Not sure about this. I’m not an anti-vaxer, quite the reverse, but I’m not sure how I feel about vaccinating for a disease that is unlikely to make a child very unwell and would potentially protect only for a very limited time. I suspect however we’ll all be forced to if we wish to travel in future. This has been poorly written and has led some commentators here to jump to the wrong conclusions. Having contracted measles, mumps and rubella as a child before there was a vaccine for those diseases I am grateful for the vaccination programmes we have and made sure my children were protected.
