Wake up guys. So fed up with headlines intimating that schools have been closed throughout this pandemic. Other than the initial lockdown (when school staff were forced to work from home), I personally have been in school every single day of term time since this all began. The media has a lot to answer for. The data politicians and the news keep stating, that teachers are less at risk is biased. The data is based only on male teachers, when most teachers are female and over a 42 week period when only 17 of them were when schools were open fully. My favourite news report this morning was, that the former lead of Ofsted said on question time last night, that teachers and school staff will need to step up and begin to go above and beyond when schools reopen, like the NHS has throughout the pandemic.
