  We can attempt objectivity and in science it's essential. Science isn't science that isn't objective. The application of science however requires human cooperation and that is usually inter-subjective at best. I think that it would be a little naive to either claim or expect otherwise. Well im a brit and even our most extreme weather is not that extreme but every winter most of us stock up a bit.I remember the power cuts in 70s so iv always stuck to gas for cooking..then you have a heat/light source too if electric off.. and always have matches candes torches in house.My father used to keep huge oil lamps...he had war time mentality. I know this will take money out of the excessive profits of those poor, destitute investors in Texas utilities, but perhaps it’s past time when money should be invested in back-up generators for municipal water systems, heftier weather-resistant electric transmission lines, moisture condenser systems for natural gas lines and electric generating stations, ad infinitum.

  You are repeating a lot of misconceptions shared online, so perhaps you are the one that should try to educate yourself better. Andrea Bästlein no you arent a threat to others. This is a lot less of a threat than many diseases that arent mandating a worldwide vaccine by the back door - its not bubonic plague you know. Theres a project fear thats pretty much worldwide, theres a lack of balance in all the info we are given, you have to search to get that balance. Look at americas frontline doctors, look at info off people like Ivor Cummins, Anna Brees, Dolores Cahill, Mike Yeadon, people who signed the great Barrington declaration and get some balance and then see what you think. Joanne Sellers I think you are a threat if you do not get vaccinated because while you yourself may not get an active case of Covid-19, you may still pass it on to others.

 I am 36 and my generation is riddled with unhealthy and obese people who are dying young vs my grandfather's who are still going strong, he has out survived all of his children except one son. What is the difference? Richard Carrassai humans have been eating meat for thousands of years, we used to eat them in a much dirtier fashion as well. Maybe use some critical thinking skills. If people could eat meat during the dark ages and survive, why all of a sudden can we not? Maybe these viruses are biological weapons? Piotr Kot Can you tell me why is it necessary? The proteins in the meat are made out of the same amino acids as a protein from a vegetable for instance.

 I am not so good on that and I do feel better with meat, but I try not to exaggerate and be thankful for the meat that I buy. Dee Violet it is needed, as we are animals too and we eat the same as any animals in the same class with us omnivores. Since, we appeared on Earth as specie. But we should be very considerate and reduce the abuse of meat, as we were eating it occasionally. I love meat especially bacon but everyone has a right to their own opinion. What we should not have the right to do Is make fun of or bash people because their opinion is different than ours. It's easy to post rude comments. It's harder and takes a strong person to hold their tongue and post something with class.

 Same for the plant foods. Having to pour insecticides on the farms and gmo some etc to slow the diseases and insects. What humanity's response should be: clearly animal agriculture is the most significant cause of pandemics. Therefore, we will promote plant based diets, along with the end of our exploitation & abuse of billions of living animals who experience pain & fear, for our profit & pleasure, for food, research & entertainment.

I’m ready for Kindergarten but is it ready for me shirt

  I teach in Italy, a school.with 500 kids, early childhood to middle school. We all wear masks, indoors and out. Sanitize our hands often as well as desks etc. Windows are open so we wear warm clothes! So far we have had a couple of cases and a couple of classes quarantined for 10 days. The school has remained open since September. We haven't had to cope with any variants until now so that may make the difference. However, with masks, sanitizing and quick testing and tracing, I think.its possible to reopen schools especially now that the vaccines are being rolled out and very speedily in the UK! Being in class with the kids even with masks and when it's chilly is infinitely preferable to online learning, in my mind anyway!
