She was getting abused at home as well. So this was teaching her it's ok for men to do this to her. She was probably also thinking about here career as a masseuse, and with Maxines words let them do this, was a way for her to get that job. So as she got a little older, that is when she started to realise, she was never going to get that job, and chose to take a different route in her life. A lot of people, parents have a hard time. Because, everything, EVERYTHING that happens, takes place in a childhood home sets the foundation on how they are going to act, deal, cope, struggle, when they go out into the real world.
