  Which was to be at Jane's concert in Leeds I made it and many more earlier this year including a weekend at nidd hall to enjoy her concert the 'c' word just wrecks your thoughts and living I stepped on the word and put it out of my mind positive and so grateful to the NHS for all the amazing care I did as I was told and pleased to say I rang the bell in late March at the moment I am sitting in the hospital awaiting scans I have developed pain in the operation area which needs investigating I am on the rollercoaster again precautionary I am told !!! Ever hopeful another operation in January for me but again positive seeing jane on 19th December at her Xmas concert and going on her trip to Rhodes in May next year I am determined to go focusing on the goals in front happy goals thinking of you and sending love and all the best as you move on after today. I’m not sure this has anything to do with personality types.

  I cannot comprehend how people can be so selfish to think that getting a dog in lockdown only to get rid of it when life returns to normal is ok. Don’t get me wrong many dogs bought in lockdown will be staying in their forever home but too many won’t and will end in shelters or worse. This is awful. On the other end is peope like me who would like to rehome another dog. (Always had dogs and cat) but because we have 1 dog, 2 cats and 2 children we are ruled out of most. We can offer a loving, active and caring home and I do not wish to buy a puppy when do many are sitting in kennels waiting to be loved. The criteria to rehome a dog is madness! I understand safety etc but they need to be open to people who want to apply but feel they can't. I wasn't allowed to rehome as I had a young child, so I bought 2 puppies instead. 8 years later, and they're asleep next to me right now.

 They don't deal with the bureacracy. They don't deal with the army of pointless administrators. Planning is poor with little joined up thinking and that includes doctors and nurses. The stats (partic in covid times) are often misleading (if not lies) The NHS is used as a political football by the public to have a rant which you have ably demonstarted and I suspect do on a regular basis to vent your misplaced anger...nasty tories eh.......it doesn't matter who is in power. Labour would no doubt put some more money in but that isn't the answer. Tax payers money is wasted on a daily basis on an industrial scale. I've spent a lifetime working WITHIN the NHS so maybe my views don't count as much as yours eh ? Most of the 'privatisation' you talk of was put in place under Labour in the Blair years. 13 of the last 24 years have been under a labour govt by the way. What the Tories don't deal with is the poor management of funds.

  We are in the number one spot for infections and deaths by a mile in Europe and fast approaching being the worst globally. Johnson and his ‘government’ should be prosecuted for endangering public health. They have abdicated all responsibility and the media has gone along with it until it’s now too late. you are completely right. It isn’t that hard to wear a mask from time to time. We only have to wear them in shops and on public transport. For everything else you must show a Covid certificate, you can get on by being vaccinated or pay for a test that gets you a certificate valid for 48 hours. Works well and life is back to normal. I don’t see the issue with wearing masks etc., I’d much rather that than long Covid or being dead or impacting someone else. It’s funny that people are so against these measures. Elaine Molyneux not true masks in public places like markets was withdrawn months ago in France indoor events same I went bowling for first time in 2 years and not one mask which shocked me.

MariaElorduy , according to the bible we who truly believe that Jesus of Nazareth died on A Roman cross , was dead , buried and rose again are all saints and priests unto God ,in fact it says we are a Royal Priesthood ( !st Peter chapter 2 verse 9 ) . We can go straight to God no need for an intermediary. Our prayers , if birthed by Holy Ghost who dwells within a true believer , go through Jesus Christ ( not a deceased human e g Mary ) will be answered as God sees fit , and that is to our benefit.  When I was 15 there was plenty of violent films around but my parents taught me right from wrong and its the same today. If they are not mature enough to watch it then don't let them. I did my degree dissertation on violent fantasy play in kids. Kids know the difference between play and reality much the same as adults do. My kids aren't allowed to watch the programme but I'm not going to ban them from playing red light green light, which is essentially what time is it Mr. Wolf? Come on, violence is bred from poor boundaries and a lack of moral compass. While allowing kids free reign of the telly can be a symptom of that, playing a game with an element of 'threat' isn't going to turn kids into violent murderers. It is far more damaging to deny them play. . Parents want to blame the programme because it is easier than admitting they are a lazy parent, and do not monitor what their small child is watching, be a more proactive parent.

 The fact that it took squid game to get these kids to play the same games we used to play before Netflix is hilarious. What are they going to do, shoot eachother? Players are eliminated. Just like in the original games. They’re not actually killing eachother. I love the media stirring things up. I've been on loads of places where parents are worried about it, their kids have mentioned playing it at school and then as soon as they actually ask them what it comprises of it's either the red light green light bit or the actual squid game on the ground. Kids will pick things up, even if they just see clips. My kids know all about but haven’t seen it, I can assure u. The reason they know about it is because it’s massive and it’s absolutely everywhere. There are games on roblox that are based on it now, fortnite also have games based on it too. YouTubers that kids watch are referencing it too. Obviously there will be the odd few that have seen it.

  When they face comments daily, patient by patient who expect more and more from them? Would you want to be a doctor in todays climate? Just saying. having worked in the vaccination programme I can tell you now that GPs played a very minor role. It was mainly hospital staff and volunteers because the GPs couldn’t make enough profit for it. A local pharmacy set up a vaccination centre in January or February and they've done a fantastic job supported by local Labour councillors an other volunteers. GP surgeries have more medical staff than just GPs, and I didn't see any GP doctors for either of my vaccines, or my 'flu jabs. I tried to get my last one from the surgery, but they didn't have any, so I went to a pharmacy.  They'll be so surprised when health is privatised, not having seen it coming as a result of lack of investment and too many 'wanting' health input. they are seeing as many people as they can, and doing what they can consider how many patients there are registered to any one surgery some 10, 20, 40+ thousand and how many GP's caring for them?

Abusing them isnt right but sometimes I can understand why they might, in total frustration. Simon Lowe tell your Dr to book the appointment then receptionists can only book what is available to book as the rotas are agree by the GP they can override the system they created! Or the GP go to the receptionists and ask them to make thebooking then and there! It is people like those at my surgery who give the rest of you a bad name but to deny there are receptionists out there who treat people badly is ignorance and you are clearly in denial. Patients want to be respected too! Simon Lowe when you are asked to do something at work do you do it? Do you listen to the instruction and then do whatever you please because somebody else doesn't like that instruction? Then don't expect a GP receptionist to do that either.

 I took what precautions I could but didn't relinquish my role. No wonder their is frustration amongst the masses. I see negligence cases appearing soon.  So the condition flares up. We all know it needs the cream, but I have to call and make an appointment. As Yvonne said. Some countries allow you to purchase more meds over the counter. my husband has psoriasis but doesn't need his prescribed meds all the time. When it flares up and he is running out, if the meds haven't been prescribed recently, he has to have an appointment to get the prescriptions. Totally ridiculous situation. That seems strange,I dont know much about psoriasis. Does the doctor have to see the flare up to determine the dose? I just order omeprazole over the phone when I need it,but every 6 months it has to be reviewed.

  Gps are still not working normally and seeing patients. U have to book a tele appmt first, then they call and assess and decide if f2f is required, then another appmt to meet f2f … and god forbid if u need to reschedule ur f2f - u cannot do it directly, u have to go through the whole process again - get a tele consultation first and then gp will decide if u need to meet - all of this feels like a joke now when literally every other industry has started to work normally. On top of all this, when they call , all they are interested in is to take notes - can u not for first 1 or 2 mins just listen to ur patient and get to know him/her - are we just diary appmts that u need to complete? Other day i got to meet this gp after a month long wait etc, she refused to listen to all my problems in that meet as her 10 mins was over? Now I have to book another tele consultation and what not to get another appmt!
