  I cannot comprehend how people can be so selfish to think that getting a dog in lockdown only to get rid of it when life returns to normal is ok. Don’t get me wrong many dogs bought in lockdown will be staying in their forever home but too many won’t and will end in shelters or worse. This is awful. On the other end is peope like me who would like to rehome another dog. (Always had dogs and cat) but because we have 1 dog, 2 cats and 2 children we are ruled out of most. We can offer a loving, active and caring home and I do not wish to buy a puppy when do many are sitting in kennels waiting to be loved. The criteria to rehome a dog is madness! I understand safety etc but they need to be open to people who want to apply but feel they can't. I wasn't allowed to rehome as I had a young child, so I bought 2 puppies instead. 8 years later, and they're asleep next to me right now.

 They don't deal with the bureacracy. They don't deal with the army of pointless administrators. Planning is poor with little joined up thinking and that includes doctors and nurses. The stats (partic in covid times) are often misleading (if not lies) The NHS is used as a political football by the public to have a rant which you have ably demonstarted and I suspect do on a regular basis to vent your misplaced anger...nasty tories eh.......it doesn't matter who is in power. Labour would no doubt put some more money in but that isn't the answer. Tax payers money is wasted on a daily basis on an industrial scale. I've spent a lifetime working WITHIN the NHS so maybe my views don't count as much as yours eh ? Most of the 'privatisation' you talk of was put in place under Labour in the Blair years. 13 of the last 24 years have been under a labour govt by the way. What the Tories don't deal with is the poor management of funds.

  We are in the number one spot for infections and deaths by a mile in Europe and fast approaching being the worst globally. Johnson and his ‘government’ should be prosecuted for endangering public health. They have abdicated all responsibility and the media has gone along with it until it’s now too late. you are completely right. It isn’t that hard to wear a mask from time to time. We only have to wear them in shops and on public transport. For everything else you must show a Covid certificate, you can get on by being vaccinated or pay for a test that gets you a certificate valid for 48 hours. Works well and life is back to normal. I don’t see the issue with wearing masks etc., I’d much rather that than long Covid or being dead or impacting someone else. It’s funny that people are so against these measures. Elaine Molyneux not true masks in public places like markets was withdrawn months ago in France indoor events same I went bowling for first time in 2 years and not one mask which shocked me.

 Catholics and their belief system goes against most things, values and traditions I was taught as a Christian growing up, some go as far as being blasphemy. Don't get me started about their leadership, and fatherhood.. mere sinful men acting as if they're God and can forgive people for their sins. MariaElorduy , according to the bible we who truly believe that Jesus of Nazareth died on A Roman cross , was dead , buried and rose again are all saints and priests unto God ,in fact it says we are a Royal Priesthood ( !st Peter chapter 2 verse 9 ) . We can go straight to God no need for an intermediary. Our prayers , if birthed by Holy Ghost who dwells within a true believer , go through Jesus Christ ( not a deceased human e g Mary ) will be answered as God sees fit , and that is to our benefit. Maria I know you sincerely believe what you stated but it is not according to Holy scripture. Who are you to spit on all catholics?

 When I was 15 there was plenty of violent films around but my parents taught me right from wrong and its the same today. If they are not mature enough to watch it then don't let them. I did my degree dissertation on violent fantasy play in kids. Kids know the difference between play and reality much the same as adults do. My kids aren't allowed to watch the programme but I'm not going to ban them from playing red light green light, which is essentially what time is it Mr. Wolf? Come on, violence is bred from poor boundaries and a lack of moral compass. While allowing kids free reign of the telly can be a symptom of that, playing a game with an element of 'threat' isn't going to turn kids into violent murderers. It is far more damaging to deny them play. . Parents want to blame the programme because it is easier than admitting they are a lazy parent, and do not monitor what their small child is watching, be a more proactive parent.

 The fact that it took squid game to get these kids to play the same games we used to play before Netflix is hilarious. What are they going to do, shoot eachother? Players are eliminated. Just like in the original games. They’re not actually killing eachother. I love the media stirring things up. I've been on loads of places where parents are worried about it, their kids have mentioned playing it at school and then as soon as they actually ask them what it comprises of it's either the red light green light bit or the actual squid game on the ground. Kids will pick things up, even if they just see clips. My kids know all about but haven’t seen it, I can assure u. The reason they know about it is because it’s massive and it’s absolutely everywhere. There are games on roblox that are based on it now, fortnite also have games based on it too. YouTubers that kids watch are referencing it too. Obviously there will be the odd few that have seen it.
