  When they face comments daily, patient by patient who expect more and more from them? Would you want to be a doctor in todays climate? Just saying. having worked in the vaccination programme I can tell you now that GPs played a very minor role. It was mainly hospital staff and volunteers because the GPs couldn’t make enough profit for it. A local pharmacy set up a vaccination centre in January or February and they've done a fantastic job supported by local Labour councillors an other volunteers. GP surgeries have more medical staff than just GPs, and I didn't see any GP doctors for either of my vaccines, or my 'flu jabs. I tried to get my last one from the surgery, but they didn't have any, so I went to a pharmacy.  They'll be so surprised when health is privatised, not having seen it coming as a result of lack of investment and too many 'wanting' health input. they are seeing as many people as they can, and doing what they can consider how many patients there are registered to any one surgery some 10, 20, 40+ thousand and how many GP's caring for them?

Be Clear this, Black history month is not about changing the past it’s about correcting the lies and the gaps in our countries history. It is about understanding the truths, therefore rewriting history that has been edited to cut out black peoples contribution to society. History is black history. It’s a campaign to force the privileged people in the media, film makers, the establishment, government and educators to look at how black people are portrayed. This includes how black people see themselves and how we perceive ourselves. It’s not just about the education of non black people, it’s about the education of everyone.

 Some administrators really do cross the line while on their power trip. Pushing patients to their breaking point. Abusing them isnt right but sometimes I can understand why they might, in total frustration. Simon Lowe tell your Dr to book the appointment then receptionists can only book what is available to book as the rotas are agree by the GP they can override the system they created! Or the GP go to the receptionists and ask them to make thebooking then and there! It is people like those at my surgery who give the rest of you a bad name but to deny there are receptionists out there who treat people badly is ignorance and you are clearly in denial. Patients want to be respected too! Simon Lowe when you are asked to do something at work do you do it? Do you listen to the instruction and then do whatever you please because somebody else doesn't like that instruction? Then don't expect a GP receptionist to do that either.

  Whilst his childhood may suffer, her art will continue to flourish.  I took what precautions I could but didn't relinquish my role. No wonder their is frustration amongst the masses. I see negligence cases appearing soon.  So the condition flares up. We all know it needs the cream, but I have to call and make an appointment. As Yvonne said. Some countries allow you to purchase more meds over the counter. my husband has psoriasis but doesn't need his prescribed meds all the time. When it flares up and he is running out, if the meds haven't been prescribed recently, he has to have an appointment to get the prescriptions. Totally ridiculous situation. That seems strange,I dont know much about psoriasis. Does the doctor have to see the flare up to determine the dose? I just order omeprazole over the phone when I need it,but every 6 months it has to be reviewed.

  Gps are still not working normally and seeing patients. U have to book a tele appmt first, then they call and assess and decide if f2f is required, then another appmt to meet f2f … and god forbid if u need to reschedule ur f2f - u cannot do it directly, u have to go through the whole process again - get a tele consultation first and then gp will decide if u need to meet - all of this feels like a joke now when literally every other industry has started to work normally. On top of all this, when they call , all they are interested in is to take notes - can u not for first 1 or 2 mins just listen to ur patient and get to know him/her - are we just diary appmts that u need to complete? Other day i got to meet this gp after a month long wait etc, she refused to listen to all my problems in that meet as her 10 mins was over? Now I have to book another tele consultation and what not to get another appmt!
