Not only that, in order for a virus to thrive, it needs it's host to survive. Which means with every mutation, it will get weaker and weaker but in doing so it becomes that much more transmissible. Which is exactly what is happening with this latest Omicron variant. Like the common cold, this virus will be with us in one form or another, for quite some time, if not indefinitely. We just have to use a bit of commonsense and learn to live with it, just as we do with the flu etc....Just remember though, in the history of vaccines, not one single person has taken it to protect others.
