It's an easy solution to make it look they're doing something, instead of sorting out their own use of disposable plastic. But yes, let's just take toys off 3 yr olds instead of investing in sustainable plant based packaging alternatives. Why? Because it's easy and doesn't cost them anything while at the same time allowing them to look like they have made a stance against single use plastic. And all the people applauding them are still going round Waitrose filling their trolleys fullness yoghurt pots, cheese in plastic packaging, plastic bottles etc.
