It's almost two years since I was referred to ENT. Jamie Walton I think the issue is, in this case for trans kids there is an easy fix. Puberty blockers are temporary and reversible. There would be little cost to prescribe them at a GP level instead of waiting 3 years for a referral. Mx Emily yet it not just writing a script. Do GP has the training to supervise and monitor them? I think it’s a good idea but I think some training and guide lines may be required to be given to the GPs.
